Moon Times Trinity Street, Hastings

Hoooray! Come on all you people who've been sitting at home crying since Olio bowed out. Hastings has a new, truly local, truly indie bookshop. Owner Graham Hodgson is Hastings born and bred, and is planning a whole section of books that are Hastings born and bred. There's a good variety of all sorts of books in particularly pleasing surroundings down there in Trinity Street, just along from the library.

Wow! Scalextric, Beach Huts and Bathing Machines, along with Egyptian Gods and Myths. I like the sound of that. Wonder if I could write a short story containing them all...

Welcome to Booksy, Graham smile

He he! That's precisely what I thought. A myth about why Egyptian Gods keep their Scalextrics in Beach Huts - don't forget to buy the appropriate Shire Guides though, so you get the details right.

Re: Moon Times Trinity Street, Hastings

On Thursday 8th October at 1200, Rory Flynn(the daughter of Errol Flynn) will be officially opening Moon Times.  After the grand opening she will be in store to sign copies of her book 'The Baron of Mulholland', a delightful pictorial account of her fathers life with many original manuscripts by him.

About Rory:

Several years after the death of her famous father, the teenaged RORY FLNN was discovered by the modeling world and therafter worked as a high fashion model in New York, London and Paris for nearly a decade.  Afterward she decided to try her talents on the other side of the camera and has since travelled the world as a still photographer for the film industry.

Currently she is happily based in the Hollywood Hills, where she lives with her film producer husband Gideon Amir and their teenaged son Sean, who is carrying on the Flynn name as a successful film and television actor.

There will be some free refreshment and nibbles.

Re: Moon Times Trinity Street, Hastings

Moon Times will be having a special halloween book signing event with local 'ghost buster' Michael Kingscote;

BOOK SIGNING On Saturday 31st October 1200 onwards - Michael Kingscote – ‘Beyond Faith’

Beyond Faith is not just another book offering nothing but faith for evidence of post mortem survival.  Beyond Faith looks past that and convincingly explores the unification of science and faith.  From Quantum physics to electromagnetic fields, the evidence shows us what truly lies beyond the grave. Michael will also have photographs in store of the unexplained!
