My novella, set in 1947, A Penny Spitfire (pewter-rose-press.com) has just been re-released as an e-book in epub format. Following dvd practice I thought I should add some specials, so wrote another scene, from the earlier life of a major character, plus a couple of essays about the origins and writing of the story, and of course, a literary equivalent of out-takes! The story centres on Derek Fitton, a motor mechanic struggling to pick up the threads of his old lfe after serving in India during World War Two. It's also a sort of homage to my home town of Burton Upon Trent; not a place that features in fiction that often, though it does get a mention in Ivanhoe!

Oo, my grandparents live in Burton on Trent! Is it available in paper, too, because I don't think they do e-books?

Sounds interesting, Brindley. Luck and best wishes. Neil
